Using Aural Skills in Music 4.3 Italian Terms 23/6/17

Task 4.3
Listen again to one of the songs in the tasks above and use three Italian musical terms to show what is happening in he different sections of the song. First state he word then outline the section of the song the term applies to
BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY




verse 1 (legato-smoothly) At the start of the first verse the words and the backing music was preformed smoothly.

 Crescendo (gradually getting louder) The music starts to get louder this happens in the second verse where it bring in the guitar solo.

 Staccato- Detached After the guitar sol the lyrics are very short and detached this is call Staccato

    Well done this was a fun exercise for us and its a good way of learning how to map out or navigate your way through a song, its easy for me to go straight to the point that your referring to with the direction and the Italian terms you have given.
